Ground Turkey Empanadas w/ Chimichurri Sauce
Homemade Ground Turkey Empanadas on fleek! Upgrade your lunch with this recipe!
Sauté red onions in a little olive oil. Add the ground turkey and stir until cooked. Season with garlic, black pepper and crushed red pepper 🌶
Add crushed tomato sauce (just to moisten it-don't make it soupy)
Spoon ground turkey mixture into a shell, fold over, and press close with the edge of a fork. Brush on an olive oil and garlic mixture when closed to keep mouse in oven
Place empanadas on a baking sheet; bake @ 350 for ~25-30 mins or until shell is to your liking.
Mince red onion, basil 🌿 (fresh from my garden!), red wine vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice and sea salt to taste. Use as a dipping sauce for the empanadas
